Tensions are soaring after India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, a move Pakistan calls an “act of war.” Pakistani nationals are also being rounded up from across the country and being told to leave India. All this comes on a day when there was machine gun fire across the LoC – speculative fire by Pak forces to test Indian defences, Indian soldiers retaliated – with no loss of life.
