Rohtas:- A speeding uncontrolled Thar vehicle crushed four people standing on the roadside near Jamua Petrol Pump under Karakat police station area on Sunday. 40-year-old Babita Devi died on the spot after being hit by a speeding Thar vehicle near Jamua Petrol Pump on Sunday evening. Four people were injured in the accident, including a four-year-old child. Babita Devi was the wife of Hridayananda Pandit (Prajapati) of Jamua village. The injured include Salim Mansuri (30), Salimuddin alias Baul and Saif Mansuri. After the accident, the Thar vehicle went down the road and overturned. Angry people beat up the driver. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, but could not lift the body due to the protest of the villagers. The driver has been taken into custody by the police.
