WhatsApp Begins Testing Facebook, Instagram Quick Sharing Options for Status Updates

WhatsApp is developing new quick sharing options for status updates on its iOS app, according to a feature tracker. It will allow users to share status updates to Facebook and Instagram, without having to navigate through a separate interface. However, users may reportedly have to link their WhatsApp account to the Meta Accounts Centre to use the new functionality. The feature is currently under development and only available to beta testers.
