1 Killed, 2 Injured As Cyclone Montha Makes Landfall In Andhra

Severe Cyclonic storm Montha on Tuesday crossed the coast off Andhra Pradesh, causing disruptions in the southern state, while the impact was also felt in neighbouring Odisha, where normal life was affected in 15 districts. One elderly woman died after a tree fell on her house in the Konaseema district due to the cyclone’s impact. In a separate incident, a boy and an auto driver were injured as strong winds uprooted coconut trees in the district.
