Karnataka High Court Halts Congress Govt’s ‘Anti-RSS’ Order

In a major legal and political twist, the Dharwad Bench of the Karnataka High Court has stayed the state government’s directive that restricted gatherings of over 10 people – including RSS members – on government premises without prior approval.

The court observed that the order violated fundamental rights, prompting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to announce plans to appeal the stay before a division bench. Meanwhile, the BJP has welcomed the court’s decision, calling it a victory for constitutional freedoms.
