Vokkaliga Body Backs DK Shivakumar, Warns Against ‘Injustice’ In Karnataka Power Tussle

The Vokkaliga Sangha has strongly backed Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar amid the ongoing leadership tussle in the Congress. Expressing disappointment over the unfulfilled understanding that Shivakumar would become Chief Minister after 2.5 years, the community body warned it will “fight any injustice” against him and urged the Congress to at least offer a “token reward” for his efforts, adding fresh pressure on the high command.
