Worn By PM Modi, Jaipur Watch Company’s Wristwatch With ‘1947 Coin’ Hits Headlines

A wristwatch handcrafted in Jaipur has captured attention, thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The prime minister wore the watch during the recent flag-hoisting ceremony at Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.

Designed by the Jaipur Watch Company, the wristwatch is part of the firm’s Bagh Collection, and includes a unique memorabilia. The company says the wristwatch is studded with an original 1947 one-rupee coin featuring a walking tiger.
