Parliament Session | Congress Seeks Parliament Debate On India-US Trade Deal

The Congress has intensified pressure on the government over the India-US trade deal. Senior MP Manish Tewari has moved an adjournment notice in Parliament, demanding an immediate discussion on the details of the agreement. The opposition is seeking clarity on key aspects of the pact, including claims made by US President Donald Trump on oil purchases and market access. While the government has assured that full details will be shared, the Congress says Parliament must be taken into confidence. Other opposition parties have also backed the demand, setting the stage for a fresh confrontation in both Houses.
