Bangladesh Elections | Bangladesh Bans Mobile Phones Near Polling Stations, Opposition Cries Foul

Ahead of upcoming elections, the Bangladesh Election Commission has barred mobile phones within 400 yards of polling centres, citing security and transparency concerns. The move has triggered sharp backlash from political parties, with Jamaat-e-Islami strongly condemning the decision and NCP leader Nahid Islam warning of a gherao of the Election Commission if the order is not withdrawn.
