India-Pakistan T20 World Cup Clash Likely As PCB, ICC Talks Continue

An India-Pakistan clash at the T20 World Cup 2026 appears increasingly likely amid fresh developments involving the ICC and other cricket boards. Sources say the Emirates Cricket Board, after Sri Lanka Cricket, has written to Pakistan, reminding the PCB of past support and urging it to stand up for Associate nations. The PCB had earlier threatened to boycott the India match despite ICC warnings. According to NDTV sources, Pakistan has now placed three demands before the ICC to break the deadlock, including compensation-related issues and future hosting rights.
