Kanpur Hit-And-Run: Is The Probe Protecting A VVIP Accused?

At least six people were injured after a speeding Lamborghini, allegedly driven by Shivam Mishra, son of a prominent tobacco trader, rammed into pedestrians in Kanpur. Days after the incident, no arrest has been made, raising serious questions about the pace and fairness of the investigation. While police say Mishra is hospitalised and undergoing medical evaluation, including tests for epilepsy, critics allege preferential treatment as the FIR names unknown persons and the accused remains out of reach.
