Kanpur Police have confirmed that Shivam Mishra, son of a prominent tobacco businessman, was driving the Lamborghini that ploughed into pedestrians, injuring six people in an upscale area of Kanpur. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, the Kanpur Police Chief Raghubir lal said Shivam Mishra’s name emerged during investigation through CCTV footage and vehicle ownership details, explaining that his name was missing from the initial FIR because injured complainants did not know the driver’s identity.
