The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has strongly responded to Congress MP Manickam Tagore over his recent remarks ahead of the Tamil Nadu elections. DMK leader TKS Elangovan stated that Tagore does not represent the entire Congress party, which is led in the state by the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president. He further asserted that Tagore became a Member of Parliament with the support of the DMK, underlining tensions within the alliance as seat-sharing talks gain momentum in poll-bound Tamil Nadu.
