PM Modi Launches India’s Fastest Metro In Meerut, Entire Namo Bharat Corridor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Meerut’s metro service and dedicated the full 82-km Delhi-Meerut rapid rail corridor to the nation. With an operational speed of 120 kmph, the Meerut Metro becomes the fastest system in India. The integrated network is expected to reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to around 55 minutes. The Prime Minister flagged off both the Meerut Metro and the Namo Bharat train from Shatabdi Nagar station.
