Tribal Students In Andhra Pradesh Protest For Safe School Access

Tribal schoolchildren from remote Andhra Pradesh villages staged a striking protest by sitting on a broken, cratered road with photos of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan around their necks, pleading for a proper road to reach school. Forced to walk nearly 12 km daily through dangerous hilly terrain-especially perilous during the monsoon-they say their safety and education are at risk.
