“No Plan For Regime Change”: Ian Bremmer Says Military Wins Don’t Equal Political Transition In Iran

Eurasia Group president Ian Bremmer argues there is no effective roadmap for replacing Iran’s leadership-saying U.S.-Israeli strikes can degrade military assets but don’t translate into dismantling the regime’s repressive capacity or building an organized opposition. With no signs of mass rebellion and the U.S. unwilling to deploy large forces, he warns the conflict could drag on longer than expected.
