US Destroys Iranian Mine Boats Near Strait of Hormuz

Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate on Day 12 of the ongoing crisis, with the United States Central Command claiming it has destroyed 16 Iranian mine-laying vessels near the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

Video footage released by the US military shows multiple strikes on vessels allegedly preparing to lay naval mines along the world’s busiest oil shipping route. Responding to the developments, Donald Trump warned that Iran must immediately remove any mines from the Strait or face serious military consequences.
