“My Job Is Not To Prove My Critics Wrong…”: Says Gautam Gambhir

India men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir said his role is not to prove critics wrong but to focus on the team’s performance. Speaking in an interview, Gambhir addressed criticism surrounding the Indian team and his approach as head coach. Gambhir said his responsibility is to work with players and help the team perform consistently rather than respond to criticism. He emphasised that public commentary and scrutiny are part of international cricket. The former India cricketer took over as head coach of the national men’s team and has been involved in guiding the squad during recent international assignments.
