Iranian Ambassador To India Fathali Signals India Could Get Safe Passage Through Strait Of Hormuz

Iran’s Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, indicated that India could soon get safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Talking to the media in New Delhi, Ambassador Fathali said India is a friend to Iran. On whether Iran would allow Indian ships to pass, Mr Fathali expressed optimism regarding the issue. He said Iran believes that Iran and India share common interests in the region. Several Indian ships are stuck in the Strait of Hormuz due to the situation in West Asia.
