A high-level Election Commission delegation led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar arrived in Patna on Friday to review preparations for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. With the Assembly’s term ending on November 22, the polls must be held before that date. The ECI began its three-day visit by meeting representatives from 12 recognized political parties to assess readiness and address concerns.
Meanwhile, the Bihar BJP chief has sent out a clear message ahead of the polls — saying there will be “no elder-younger brother talks this time”, signaling a reset in the BJP’s approach towards its ally, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
