Bihar To Bengal: Battle Over SIR

The ‘SIR’ showdown refuses to die down. With just 8 days remaining for the Bihar elections, the battle for votes has turned into personal attacks by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. From throwing a ‘dance for votes’ jab at PM Modi to accusations of ‘vote chori’, political rhetoric has hit a new low. The INDIA bloc continues to threaten the poll body with no apology or remorse. Will this dhamki (threat) politics guarantee the victory of the INDIA bloc in the upcoming elections-first in Bihar, then in Bengal-or will voters reject this style of politics?
