Bihar Battle Gets Personal: PM Modi- Rahul Gandhi War Of Words

With just a week to go for Battleground Bihar to blast off, today was easily the most ill-tempered day yet on the campaign trail, with all the big guns firing on all cylinders. Rahul Gandhi’s “dance for votes” attack has triggered a ferocious counterstrike from Prime Minister Modi, who employed his tried-and-tested weaponry against Rahul and Tejashwi, painting them as the scions of corrupt dynasties. Rahul raised the temperatures further by accusing the Prime Minister of turning the sacred ‘Chhath’ festival into political theatre, while Modi hit back, saying the dynasties cannot stomach a humble OBC tea-seller holding any power. It’s a familiar dynamic.
