PM Modi Joins Somnath Swabhiman Parv, Hails Fusion of Faith And Technology

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, marking 1,000 years since the attack on the Somnath Temple by Mahmud of Ghazni. The Prime Minister witnessed a grand drone show and joined the chanting of the Omkar mantra, praising the event as a powerful fusion of technology and faith that reflected India’s cultural unity. Today, he will take part in the Shaurya Yatra, a ceremonial procession honouring warriors who sacrificed their lives defending the temple, featuring a symbolic march of 108 horses. The Prime Minister will later offer prayers at the Somnath Temple and address a public gathering.
