Election Commission vs Mamata Escalates as Bengal Cops Reach Delhi

The standoff between the Election Commission and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has intensified, with Bengal Police reaching Delhi after Mamata alleged she was being followed by Delhi Police. The Delhi Police have strongly denied the charges, saying they neither entered Bengal Bhavan nor conducted any surveillance, maintaining that their deployment was strictly for the Chief Minister’s security.
