Gaddafi’s Son Saif Al-Islam Shot Dead In Libya

Breaking news from Libya where Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, has been shot dead. Conflicting reports have emerged about the location of the killing, with Libyan authorities saying he was gunned down at his home, while family sources claim he was attacked near the Algeria-Libya border. Officials say a four-member team carried out the assassination and fled after the attack. Saif Gaddafi had earlier faced jail time over allegations of repression during his father’s regime.
