Big Voter Turnout In Dhaka As Jamaat-BNP Battle Defines Bangladesh Election Day

From early morning, major polling centres in Dhaka have seen steady crowds, including women voters lining up to cast their ballots. At one key booth – where the Jamaat-e-Islami chief himself voted – voters said they were grateful simply to be allowed to vote freely as they choose the country’s next government.
