“By The 10th Over, We Knew the Result”: Expert Analysis On India-Pakistan T20 Clash

NDTV Consulting Editor Boria Majumdar described the latest India–Pakistan T20 clash as a one-sided contest, saying the result was evident midway through Pakistan’s innings. He pointed out that Pakistan were 38 for 4 in the powerplay and never recovered, making the game predictable and dull in a format meant for close finishes.

Majumdar criticised Pakistan’s tactical decisions, including the choice to bowl first after winning the toss and the handling of key overs. He argued that the rivalry narrative is being overstated, noting India’s recent dominance in head-to-head encounters. He also questioned leadership and administrative approaches within Pakistan cricket, saying responsibility must rest at the top during tough phases.
