At the NDTV Ind.AI Summit, Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India and South Asia, shared insights on AI adoption in India’s workplaces. Chandok emphasized that the future of work will merge humans and machines into an “intelligent resource function”, eliminating the divide between HR and IT. Highlighting the importance of technology diffusion, he stressed that India should not only innovate but ensure AI reaches every citizen, enterprise, and government institution. Addressing workplace fears, Chandok said both fear of job loss and ignorance about AI are misplaced. The key to thriving is upskilling, reskilling, and integrating AI as a teammate.
