Speaking to NDTV, Mittal described AI as a powerful tool driving network optimisation, energy management, and customer service improvements through chatbots and digital agents. He highlighted AI-led spam and fraud detection as a “global first,” claiming authorities have acknowledged a significant reduction in fraudulent activity on Airtel’s network.
