Terrorist Killed in Kishtwar Encounter; Jaish Commander Among Three Eliminated

One terrorist was killed in an ongoing security operation in a remote area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, after militants opened fire on approaching troops from a mudhouse hideout. Security forces retaliated, leading to an intense gunfight. A day earlier, forces had blasted the same hideout, killing a Jaish commander identified as Saifullah and two of his associates. NDTV was the first channel to report from the terror hideout following the operation.
