Congress Demands 41 Seats, DMK Draws Line at 27 in Tamil Nadu Talks

Seat-sharing talks between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Indian National Congress are intensifying in Tamil Nadu. Sources say Congress has demanded 41 seats, while the DMK is reportedly willing to offer around 25 and may stretch to 26-27 at most. Congress is pushing for at least 31-32 seats and has also raised the issue of an unfulfilled Rajya Sabha promise from 2021.
