Tensions flared inside University of Lucknow after members of Bajrang Dal staged a protest against students offering namaz on campus. The dispute began when some students alleged they were stopped from praying inside a building under repair. Right-wing groups gathered at the site, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” and performing Sunderkand in opposition. Police intervened to control the situation, and the campus is currently reported to be peaceful but tense.
