After ‘Keralam’, Demand Grows To Rename Delhi As Indraprastha

After the Union Cabinet approved the proposal to officially rename Kerala as “Keralam,” a fresh demand has surfaced to rename the national capital Delhi as “Indraprastha.”

Praveen Khandelwal, BJP MP from Chandni Chowk, has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging that Delhi be renamed to reflect its ancient historical identity as Indraprastha. The demand has triggered political debate, with discussions likely to intensify in the coming days.
