Mother-daughter team finds world’s largest known coral on Great Barrier Reef

A mother and daughter have discovered the world’s largest known coral colony on the Great Barrier Reef. Identified as Pavona clavus, the massive coral stretches approximately 111 meters and covers nearly 4,000 square meters. This significant find was made during the Great Reef Census, an initiative aimed at supporting reef conservation efforts.
