Dhoni Craze Continues In Chennai Despite His Absence, Jersey Remains Top Seller

Just outside MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, a small fan-run shop called Dhoni Sports stands as a tribute to legendary cricketer MS Dhoni. Despite Dhoni not featuring in the India vs Zimbabwe T20 World Cup match, his popularity remains unmatched among Chennai fans. The shop, run by devoted supporters for over 14-15 years, sells Dhoni jerseys, India shirts, caps, and fan merchandise. Fans visiting the store told NDTV that Dhoni’s legacy, especially his wicketkeeping style and leadership, continues to inspire them. The store reflects Dhoni’s enduring emotional connect with Chennai and his team, Chennai Super Kings, even beyond active match appearances.
