23,000 Indian Seafarers Stuck Near Strait of Hormuz Amid War Tensions

More than 23,000 Indian seafarers are currently sailing through or stationed near the highly sensitive Strait of Hormuz, raising major safety concerns amid escalating tensions in the Persian Gulf.

According to sources, around 1,074 Indian sailors are on board Indian-flagged vessels, while nearly 22,000 Indians are working on foreign ships navigating through the conflict-prone waters.
