Iran Slams “Attack On International Law,” Calls Strike On Unarmed Vessel ‘Unfortunate’: Deputy Foreign Minister

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh says Tehran is exercising restraint even as the situation escalates, calling the attack on an unarmed Iranian ship in the Indian Ocean “unfortunate.” He told that he spoke briefly with India’s External Affairs Minister and alleged that principles of international law have been violated. Khatibzadeh described the US-Israel offensive as a “direct invasion,”
