Iran Claims Drone Strike on US Oil Tanker in Strait of Hormuz

Iran has claimed that it struck a US-linked oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy shipping routes.

According to Iranian authorities and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the tanker “Prima”, trading under the name “Louis P,” was hit by a suicide drone after allegedly ignoring warnings from the Iranian Navy not to pass through the strategic waterway.
