In an interview with NDTV near the Israel-Lebanon border, Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said the conflict has become a multi-front war involving strikes against Iran and fighting with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. He said Hezbollah joined the war alongside Iran and accused the group of attempting attacks on Israeli civilians. According to the IDF, Israeli forces are carrying out strikes to neutralize threats along the northern border while also targeting Iranian-linked operatives coordinating with Hezbollah.
