Douglas Macgregor: Trump Needs Modi’s Help to End Iran War

As the war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States enters its second week, former Pentagon adviser Douglas Macgregor shares his blunt assessment of the conflict and its possible endgame.

Speaking about the situation facing Donald Trump, Macgregor argues that the United States cannot end the war alone and may need international mediation to find a diplomatic exit.

He suggests that PM Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, could play a key role in brokering talks because of India’s strong relationships with multiple countries in the region — including Iran, Israel, and Russia.
