Loud explosions were heard in Dubai on Friday, shaking buildings as a large cloud of black smoke rose over a central part of the city. An AFP correspondent reported hearing a powerful double blast that rattled nearby structures. The Dubai Media Office said debris from a successful interception caused a minor incident on the exterior of a building in central Dubai. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported. The incident occurred near the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Sirens were heard from the direction of Sheikh Zayed Road, and police later cordoned off the area as emergency teams responded to the scene.
