Tinder Extortion Racket Busted In Mumbai, 10 Arrested In ‘Cafe Date’ Scam

A major dating app extortion racket has been busted in Mumbai after police from the Sakinaka and Powai divisions carried out a raid at a café involved in the scam. The gang allegedly used the popular dating app Tinder to target wealthy men. Around 25–30 women were reportedly brought from Delhi to lure victims to a café in Sakinaka and Ghatkopar. Once there, the women ordered excessive food and drinks, leaving victims with inflated bills ranging from ₹25,000 to over ₹50,000.
