Iran Women’s National Football Team Returns To Tehran Amid Asylum Row, Gets Grand Welcome

A welcoming ceremony was held in Tehran for the returning Iran women’s national football team, with fans waving flags and chanting in support. While most chose to return, two players, Fatemeh Pasandideh and Atefeh Ramezanisadeh, remained in Australia and are now training with Brisbane Roar.
