AIMIM-Humayun Joining Hands: New Headache For TMC?

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), led by Asaduddin Owaisi, has officially entered the West Bengal political arena, announcing an alliance with former TMC leader Humayun Kabir.

Addressing a gathering at the party headquarters in Hyderabad, Owaisi said the AIMIM is expanding its footprint across the country and is now gearing up for the Bengal elections.

The move has sparked controversy, especially in light of past remarks attributed to Kabir. Meanwhile, Owaisi also launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her government of injustice towards Muslims by cancelling OBC certificates of lakhs of community members.
