Iran Denies Strike Pause Claim, Contradicts Donald Trump As War Narratives Clash

A fresh claim versus counterclaim deepens uncertainty in the ongoing conflict. A report by the The Wall Street Journal cites mediators saying Iran has not sought any pause on energy site strikes, directly contradicting claims made by Donald Trump. Iran has maintained a consistent stance, denying any ongoing negotiations with the US and laying out firm conditions: an immediate halt to strikes on its territory, concrete security guarantees against future attacks, and refusal to curb its missile programme. Tehran has also demanded compensation for damages from US and Israeli strikes and called for the closure of US bases in the region. With both sides pushing conflicting narratives, the information war is intensifying alongside tensions on the ground.
