The scheme supports children under 21 years whose parents are deceased, missing, or incapacitated. With an annual family income cap of ₹60,000, the scheme provides monthly financial assistance to ensure the child’s well-being and education. In the absence of the original guardian, a successor or near relative is nominated by the SDM to continue receiving benefits without interruption. This ensures continuous support for vulnerable children in Punjab.
